PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

SOFTWARE QA TEST PROJECT MANAGER / SCRUM MASTER IBM Corporation, Boulder, CO August 1996 to Present

Fulfills a critical role overseeing testing for commercial and internal projects at this leading Fortune 500 technology corporation, with oversight of local and global teams.

Recognized for achieving SEI CMM Level 3 for the global test organization.

Engages in end-to-end test engineering management, including test tool evaluation, development, configuration, training and usage. Works with subject matter experts to gain insight into applications and environments to tailor testing accordingly.

Directs teams of testers engaged in multi-million dollar QA projects, consistently achieving project milestones and deliverables on-time and within budget.

Orchestrates and executes broad-scope projects, overseeing as many as 35 domestic and offshore test professionals across 12 countries engaged in system, integration, end to end, regression, smoke, gorilla and user acceptance testing.

Served as Software QA Test Lead for five years, overseeing multiple teams in the planning and execution of test plans while managing adherence to Agile methodologies. Managed daily scrums and provided reports on execution and defect status on projects to develop client-server, stand alone, web-based and mobile applications. Managed 22 testers executing as many as 10,000 test cases in this role.

Served as the architect of a full life cycle test methodology that captured substantial gains in efficiency and productivity on future releases and projects.
