Duties and Responsibilities:
Report directly to the HSE Manager
Undertake daily inspection tours in area of responsibility to ensure implementation of, and adherence to, the procedures set out in the HSE Site Plan, Group HSE Manual and any additional project specific requirements.
Assisting with the preparation of emergency response plans and procedures.
Complete daily activity reports, bringing to attention actions taken on identified matters of concern and issues requiring resolution by higher authority.
Maintain records on non compliance reports.
Advise about further improvements in existing working methods.
Providing advice to supervisors on safety matters regarding to their job activities.
Maintaining all safety records including training, inspection and accident investigation/reporting.
Ensure that all records for vehicles and lifting equipment are maintained and updated.
Ensure that all records and certificate for all lifting equipment are maintained and updated.
Responsible for producing and maintaining site safety equipment.
Do routine check up on fire alarms, Fire Extinguishers and loudspeaker on its serviceability.
Weekly and monthly inspection for all lifting equipment.
Preparation, mobilization and deployment of safety equipment on job location.
Conduct on-site training and task list for new hired employees.
Responsible for work permit system
Check fall protection equipment availability and condition.
Gives assistance to all employees regarding health conditions.
Rendering emergency/first aid treatment to employees.
Helps maintain/improve safety practices in work environment.
Recommends/implements continuous improvement on safety practices.
Prepares and submit related reports and records accordingly.
Performs other related duties, which may be assigned from time to time.
