PROJECT EXPLANATION

CR Database holds the data only for few days,but for further research and development,business wants to Store the data for longer period of time i.e, for 5yrs or more, in such case, the daily data for selected tables goes to datawarehouse tables so as to retain it for longer period of time.

Roles and Responsibility: It’s a Mainframe project and the domain is Retail marketing.

Performed the role of TSD Owner: Involved in Converting the HLD requirements document in to LLD design and assigning it to developers for development, reviewing the code,perform system testing and providng UAT Testing support to the business.

Performed the role of Designer: Analysed the requirement i.e., to fetch the data from the extract the data from the image copy job and passing it on to datawarehouse system.Designed the JCL to perform this functionality.

3. PROJECT : Step Resolution

This project involved re-writing of the existing complex system in to new set of programs so as to Reduce the existing complexity and introduce modularity.
