Registration Project Manager – Contractor

As an RPM I worked closely with the client to understand the meeting goals and objectives and provide a return on their investment throughout the attendee management process. I would oversee the web build, manage the housing contractual portion of the meeting, and assist with limited planning aspects such as offsite events/dinners and ground transportation management. As the RPM I worked effectively and efficiently with the internal support team, external clients, and vendors, while in compliance with the corporate guidelines. Provide registration support to all types of meetings, including portals and fee-based programs.

Provide information reports for your meetings in a timely manner Develop event registration websites using HTML (Cvent) Maintain meeting database with continual updates/changes.

Understand, manage and perform within all hotel contract terms and conditions and deadlines in regards to rates, room categories, upgrades and other room concessions and amenities, room blocks, attrition, and cancellation clauses.

Manage all attendee communication. Examples include: event invitations, reminders, travel letters, communication emails, and surveys.

Build and maintain parked reports, dashboards, and portals in Cvent.

Registration Manager - Contractor

As needed -- Act as overall lead to client on Registration programs while Maintain the highest level of quality, professionalism and integrity when working with client, colleagues and suppliers.

Oversee daily management online registration for assigned events in Cvent

Preparation -- Includes but not limited collaborate with registration web developer on the creation of the website, consulting with internal and external customer on reporting needs, set up necessary reports, review hotel contract and room block, etc.

Monitor attendee registration process and update internal/external customers and suppliers, as needed

Accountable for hotel block management of contracted hotel (work with hotel reservationist, stay abreast of block pick up, process room shares, track and maintain billing notes, deliver final rooming list to hotel, communicate housing changes, etc.)

Government Travel Solutions, Chicago, IL (2008-2013)

Directed travel and logistics for large teams of financial professionals to assist FDIC in wrap-up closings of failed banks, arranging all national travel, hotel and ground transportation assistance for up to 250 contracted auditors at a time often within a 24-hour turnaround time frame.
