Jessica has more than 5 years of work experience in IT industry. She is currently a hybrid DevOps QA Engineer and Business Analyst at Chevron Holdings Inc. She works on a Functional and Agile Environment. She is knowledgeable with regards to testing fundamentals including requirements gathering, test analysis/planning, test scripting, test executions, test automation and even managing of defects using different testing tools like HPQC/ALM, RTC, RQM, Confluence, Parasoft SOA Test, JIRA, Worksoft Certify and minimal to basic knowledge on Jenkins, Selenium Java, VSTS, Visual Code and currently started learning Azure DevOps

Jessica performs a lead role as she managed several junior and senior resources, associate managers and several counterparts and contractors onshore (India, Germany, US).

Job Summary

Currently performs manual and automated testing on several Chevron’s Gold and Silver Applications (Chevron Business Point, Salesforce, Maximo, etc.) and SAP using Worksoft Certify, Selenium Java, VSTS, Visual Code, HP ALM, JIRA. Gather and analyze requirements to come up with an effective test plan. Self learning on the some testing tools like Katalon. Conducted Training on Worksoft Basic Automation for JDE Group in Chevron. Previously worked with Accenture Software for Human Capital Management (ASWHCM) that manually tests new applications created in SAP HANA Cloud platform. Also performed automated testing using Worksoft Certify. Perform functional testing and automation on different release testing. Able to do test planning, test scripting, test executions and conduct triage session/s for defect/s found on existing and even new projects given by clients. Previously worked with Windchimes (Accenture’s CMT Group) which supported lots of critical Production Testing for window swing on different data centers and be able to come up with good, detailed and accurate status metrics that satisfy the client (AT&T). Created testing guides on assigned APIs and listed detailed process of testing as per the given specifications.

Responsible for delivering Daily/Weekly Status Report, Production validation Status Report and Product Test Status Report with complete and accurate project metrics. Responsible for extracting defects raised in HPQC and sending Defect Summary showing all defects with new, and open/In-Analysis status. Responsible for checking each resource's charged hours and be able to send Daily Time Report with no discrepancies or any issues.

Conducted different Knowledge Transfer Sessions on new Roll-ins and even on seniors

(both offshore and onshore resources).
