Project Brief: Migration of oracle reports and forms of RDM application to Jasper BI reports.
Analyze oracle forms and reports (.rdf files) that has to be migrated to Jasper reports and prepare analysis document for the same.
Had a strong and precise communication with leads and sub ordinates and provided guidance and training to the new bies of the team to ensure everyone was in the same page. I made sure every documentation was available with the team for clearer understanding and development of the project.
Prepared design document, configuration and document required for migration to Jasper servers which was dynamic at its edition level giving me exposure to community edition, enterprise edition and reporting edition and Uploaded all the documents and codes to the confluence server and bit Bucket.
Create jasper reports in jasper studio 6.4 which involves creation and modification of PL SQL queries (oracle being the backend), design reports with multiple sub reports, drill down reports, charts, graphs, conditional formatting, scriptlets, hyper linking images and many more.
Deploy the reports in jasper server and configure required settings and create Unit test case document based on the UAT test results obtained from testing end to end in comparison to source oracle reports and forms and made sure acceptance criteria are met.
Fine tuning and finding defect spots of underlying informatica mappings involved in up gradation and migration at reporting layer database level and documents the changes.
