1. INSPECTION ENGINEER
Organization: Sree Shanmugha Industries at Pudukkottai. Period: July 2017 to till now.
Roles & Responsibilities
Handling in progress inspection of structural & fabrication shop including material traceability.
Handling welding inspection fit-up, visual inspection, dimensional inspection.
Ensure all NDT carried out as per specification and customer requirement.
Prepares necessary documents and quality control inspection reports including punch list.
Witness of material identification and verification.
Conduct visual inspection of plate, beam, angle and other material.
Handling in welder test qualification including WPS & PQR.
Ensure qualified welders and welding consumables as per qualified WPS & PQR are only used to perform welds.
Review customers purchase orders, contracts and change requests and ensure that the necessary criteria and provisions are included in quality and process plans.
Participate in internal and external quality audits.
Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives concerning problems with quality assurance and assure that effective corrective action is implemented. 2. SITE SUPERVISOR
