PROFILE

I’m an enthusiastic programmer and

scientist with a broad knowledge base

encompassing engineering and medicine

who has experience contributing to both

academic and commercial codebases. I

excelled through two graduate programs,

meanwhile teaching myself to set up and

run a secure, self-hosted e-commerce site

from scratch using several open-source

software stacks. As such, I’ve a wealth of

experience building hardware and software

from the varied perspectives of hobbyist,

academic, and startup. My greatest

strength is an ability to quickly develop new

skills, adapt to established processes, and

learn languages as demanded by the task

at hand. My next job will ideally provide the

opportunity to continue honing my business,

programming, and technical writing skills in

a team-based setting which nonetheless

capitalizes on my autonomous proclivity.

Set up and customized a secure e-commerce platform on a self- administered VPS to accept bitcoin and sell nootropics. Wrote HTML, CSS, and PHP interacting with an SQL database layer. Created branding, labeling, and advertising materials in Photoshop; handled logistics; packaged and shipped products nationwide. Derived, implemented, and tested novel algorithms for molecular dynamics and statistical thermodynamics. Wrote high-performance Java code for the UI HPC cluster; scripted in Python and Bash. Collaborated with a diverse team using Github and TravisCI. Employed machine learning techniques, analyzed medical data in HIPAA-compliant manner, and trained undergraduate personnel.
