September 2009- Current- Manassas Park City Schools. Instructional Assistant & Math Seminar Instructor.

In supporting the classroom teacher, I aided in implementing lesson plans and programs related to the learning standards of the state of Virginia. In the absence of the classroom teacher, I administered the lesson plans, provided instruction, and continued to teach the class. With appropriate supervision, training and experience, assisted in teaching communication skills, implementing student behavior and learning programs with the use of behavior modification and crisis intervention. Taught a remedial math class that helped to reinforce previously taught math standards to students in need of additional support. Provided academic and physical assistance to students. Utilized Windows 10 to instruct, build lesson plans and to help reinforce state learning standards. Used the cloud base Canvas system to keep students, parents and coworkers up to date with daily lesson plans, notes and various other instructional tools. September 2007 to November 2007 - Missile Defense Agency, VIP Executive Support Team.

Provided full desktop computer support, hardware, software and blackberry support for VIP users. Ensured daily that all users’ computer, laptops and Blackberrys had full function and network activity on Unclassified and Classified networks. Performed various tasks through Active Directory (unlocking user accounts, creation of account, adding printers/computers to domains). Other duties included answer phone calls and emails to provide support to users on both classification networks. Using the Remedy Software to add, update and resolve trouble tickets every time a user requested assistance. Performed hourly walk through to insure all users had full access to all equipment and to insure there were no network outages. Supported Windows 2000 and XP operating systems, Microsoft Office 2000, XP and 2003 Office. Migrated Unclassified computer systems from Windows 2000 to Windows XP ensuring that all users settings and all data was not lost.

Ensured Networks followed security plans by performing security walkthroughs; insured machines had proper software and hardware updates and were following other proper computer security guidelines. Virus Console configuration and maintenance. Using McAfee and ePolicy Orchestrator to send out the Virus Scanning Software and the update of Virus Definitions.
