Since September 2017 I am working as Deputy General Director on EHS matters at PJSC Rubezhnoye Cardboard and Packaging Mill the leading entity of the European company DS Smith Plc in Ukraine.
Today, in addition to 1200 full-time employees, a number of contractors work at the plant, the work of which is connected with the installation of a 40 MW pellet boiler, a steam output of 42 tons per hour at a pressure of 3.9 MPa and a consumption of 232 tons of pellets from sunflower husk per day.
The company has own subsidiaries - LLC Tripolskij Package Mill (Kiev region), JSC Packaging Kuban
(Krasnodar region, Russia) and four mills for recycling waste paper. There is a lot of high risky equipment at the plant and its subsidiaries – bridge cranes, forklifts, vessels under pressure, compressor and boiler stations, 110 kV and 10 kV power stations, high-performance gas consumed equipment.
Responsibility
At the plant and at the subsidiaries of the company, I am responsible for the organization of work on labor protection, fire safety and environmental protection - performing risk assessments and executing preventative measures for reduction of identified risks; development and implementation of requirements of the company operational safety standards; prevention of fire and emergency situations;
achievement of the strategic goals for H&S and reduction of industrial risks; improvement of management system in accordance with both the international corporate requirements and the requirements of Ukrainian legislation.
Achievements
With my active involvement -
completed a matrix of EHS competencies for the managers; settled up the system of training for the main specialists, heads of departments and personnel responsible for handling dangerous equipment;
was created internal EHS site with access to the database of regulatory documents, which are constantly updated;
established regular audits to identify hazardous conditions and dangerous actions of employees; LoTo system at the company plants was launched.
Also, in the previous place of work, more than once I was honored with diploma and gratitude by local authorities of Rivne region, as one of the managers who achieved the best results on occupational safety. My highest professional achievement in company "Saint-Gobain" I consider award "Safety Diamond" for achievements in solving H&S issues at the PJSC Consumers-Glass-Zorya. Training and skills
I got the main skills during corporate training at Saint-Gobain on the topic - Internal audits of H&S management systems, Methodology for 20 steps EHS audits, Time-management, Implementation of 5S system, Crisis and risk management, Project management, Training for trainers, Requirements of safety standards of the company "Saint-Gobain" - Standard for the use of toxic substances, Methodology of behavior type audits, Standard LoTo, Standard for noise, Risk assessments, etc. During short business trips abroad I learned the best EHS practices performed in modern enterprises of
"Saint-Gobain" in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Russia. Having worked as internal EHS auditor of the company "Saint-Gobain" I took part in the EHS 20-steps audits at Russia enterprises of "Saint-Gobain".

February 2008 – September 2017 I worked with companies “Verallia” and "Saint-Gobain" on positions - head of the Health and Safety (H&S) Dept. at PJSC "Consumers-Sklo-Zorya" (glass plant of the company
“Verallia” in Ukraine near Rivne, manufacturer of bottles and jars for food and beverages) and EHS advisor for two enterprises, namely, the private "Trojan gypsum" (gypsum quarry of the company «Saint-Gobain» situated near Ivano-Frankivsk) and the distribution company "Saint-Gobain Construction Products Ukraine" in Kiev. I got valuable experience in dealing with different issues related to safety in the workplace. October 2004 - February 2008 - safety engineer at Ukrainian factory "Gazotron-lux" (manufacturer of power saving fluorescent lamps for illumination) in Rivne. With my direct participation, the newly created company has received all the necessary results of examinations (work construction project, conclusions of the state sanitary-epidemiological expertise, state environmental expertise and others) and safety permissions from authorities to perform works with hazardous chemical substances (including mercury) and operate the modern industrial equipment of foreign production. April 1984 - October 2004 - design engineer and next chief of the department at the experimental design bureau of JSC "Gazotron" in Rivne. I am an author of two inventions. 2

In 1984 I graduated from Physics Department of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv as a research engineer of optical and optoelectronic systems and got 6-year university degree diploma of higher education (international master’s equivalent).
