In order to support the assessments – 3rd party ‘independent Assessment Providers’ will be used. The country is divided into 4 regions. These have been awarded to ATOS(3) and Capita(1).

The Assessment Tool (AT) solution will:

•Be hosted by the DWP but will be used by Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) working for Independent Assessment Providers (IAPs) working in those four regional areas of the UK & Ireland

•Provide the ability to fill in (including access control) assessments and supporting forms only, with the providers own IT providing the workflow and appointment/contact handling.
