Project 1: Production of methanol by carbon dioxide hydrogenation 2018 – 2019 o Investigated methanol production through the hydrogenation of industrially captured carbon dioxide to help reduce China’s pollution problem by converting 97% of carbon dioxide to methanol of purity 99.5wt%. o Led a group a 5 members under the guidance of a professor and a mentor. Project 2: Simulation of Gas-Subcooled Process (GSP) 2018 o Simulated Gas-Subcooled Process (GSP) which was the state-of-the art technology first developed by Ortloff engineers that offered 90% NGL recovery with carbon dioxide tolerance for enhanced ethane recovery in ASPEN Plus using unit operations such as: flash drum, air cooler, turbo-expanders, heat exchangers, Demethanizer column, and pumps. Project 3: Pipe Size Economics 2018

o Determined the optimal pipe diameter for a superheated steam with 50 degree Celsius of superheat that was transported at 100MT/hr through carbon steel piping with roughness 0.2mm by performing sensitivity analysis of pipe diameter and analyzing its implication on CAPEX vs. OPEX.
