PROFESSIONAL HISTORY & EXPERIENCE
AL BALAGH Contracting CO. W.L.L, Doha Qatar. (Jan 2013 – Till Date)
Reporting to Project Director
Responsibility include delivering and coordinating Design development for Design & Build projects, BIM management, selection & preparation technical submittals for architectural finishes, review & preparation of shop drawings, As-built drawings & closeout documents.
As Sustainability professional, responsibility include developing, improving and monitoring CEMP plans for construction works, updating calculators relating to all GSAS submittals, and reporting of environmental monitoring to consultant.
Key Projects
1) Al Wakrah Stadium & Precinct –ENERGY CENTRE (D&B).
Working as Technical coordinator for Design & Build contract of district cooling plant which comprises of Cooling towers, Chillers, Thermal Storage tank, Transformers stations, Water tanks, Central Control rooms, Offices, supporting service areas and external Infrastructure works.
- Prepared value engineering drawings of reduced footprint for award of project.
- Coordination with Design team & PM for all design deliverables.
- Attend Technical and Stakeholder meetings.
- Coordination with specialist sub- contractors for drawings & submittals
- Preparation of Material submittals, Sample boards and monitoring issue of shop drawings.
- Supporting off site BIM team as BIM coordinator from contractor team.
2)Renovation and Construction of Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium (Al Ahli), Doha, Qatar.
Worked as Senior Architect on the project, managing all architectural technical submission and follow up with consultant/client for approval. Project was handed over to client in Oct 2015.
3)Development of First Grade Sports Club (Al Sadd, Al Arabi & Qatar Sports Club)
4)Extension of Volleyball Federation building (D&B).
C. R. N Architects, Chennai, India (Sept 2011 – Dec 2012)
Reporting to AGM
As Project architect, responsibility included to manage a team of junior architects and draughtsman for development of Schematic and Detailed design documentation (Specs/ Drawings / BOQ) for various complex design projects.
Key Projects
1)Metrorail – Red Line, Hyderabad, India.
Developed schematic & detailed design drawings for 26 stations of RED- line corridor in coordination to site condition, viaduct alignment, road intersections for structural column positioning and access/egress routes based on prototype design.
2) Design of Colgate Palmolive Manufacturing Campus, Sricity (SEZ), AP, India.
Developed Masterplan and detailed design for Toothbrush Manufacturing unit in India. The spaces included, 12600 sqm production facility, labs, Warehouse, Offices, Utility buildings and staff facilities.
3) Design of TNHB (Residential Development) 780 units, Chennai, India.
Developed complete masterplan and conceptual designs for residential development.
IREKO Design, Port Louis, Mauritius (August 2010- August 2011)
Reporting Senior Architect - PM
As project architect, responsibility included liaison with client and investors to program the project requirements and feasibility reports, design presentations and brochures for property development.

J&A Architects, Ebene, Mauritius (May 2006 – July 2010)
Reporting to MD- Chief Architect
As Design architect worked on design development and construction supervision of various high-end commercial and hospitality projects from Concept to completion of construction stage. I ensured that the design is based on best industry requirements for client and in compliance to local authority requirements.
Key Projects
1)Design of Business Hotel at Ebene Cybercity, Mauritius.
The design comprises of banquet hall for 300 people, 2 restaurants, a swimming pool, spa gymnasium, a private dining room for 20 people, a dance floor cum bar and landscaped terraces and supporting facilities for 100 rooms (including 20 suites) accommodated within an 8-storied tower.
-Preparation of Concept, Detailed Design drawings and construction details.
-Architectural Coordination with structural and MEP drawings.
-Review & Supervision of contractor works on site.
-Issue of Snag list and checking of related compliance upon rectification.
2) Design of AGJ Multispecialty Hospital, Port Louis, Mauritius.
Worked as Assistant architect for design of largest hospital facility in capital city of Mauritius. Its accommodates 550 beds along with 8 operation theaters, labs and technical / service areas.
Developed conceptual and Architectural Detail design drawings.
3)Design of Office Building, Hennessy Street, Port Louis, Mauritius
Worked as Design Architect for high rise mixed development comprising two lower commercial floors and thirteen floors of office space. Developed complete design from Concept to Construction drawings. I also coordinated design coordination with structural and MEP drawings.
4)Design & Construction of Office Building, Ebene Cybercity
As project architect, I was responsible for developing conceptual sketches, preliminary drawings and detailed construction drawings
Pondy Auroservice Consultants (May 2005 – April 2006)
Reporting to Senior Architect
I Joined the consultancy firm through campus placement. Worked as Junior Architect and assisted senior member of team through preparation and detailing of design documentation drawings.

1)Aurolab, Madurai- Tamil Nadu
-Clean room laboratory and production facility for manufacture of contact lens. Approximate built up area was 8000 Sq. Mts.
2)Seven-Hills Hospital, Marol, Mumbai.
-Prepared dimensioned computer-generated detailed design drawings.
