Description:
The Global Billing Platform Application is mainly a Billing Application and was developed by IBM in early 90’s to support the services available on the Global Network. GBP is primarily used to support the Managed Services and it supports the billing needs of the AGNS country organizations (80 + Countries). Following are some of the tasks performed by the GBP Application
The Application is mainly divided into two processes, the Accounting Process and the Billing Process.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Involved in writing High level Design, Application Design, Unit Test Cases, System Test Cases and Artifacts for each phase in the project and get approvals.
Responsible for scheduling calls with ATT for online review of the Design documents written in the respective projects and get approvals from client (ATT).
Responsible for handling major and minor Release projects as part of GBP application.
Responsible for writing the Scratch Code, Analysing the code and making changes, executing, installing, promoting and responsible for validate proper delivery of code till production.
Responsible for PRODFIX on fixed timelines and provide Production Support when required.

Description:
BSP (Billing Simplification project) is the most comprehensive insurance software system for large Auto and Fire (Home). BSP helps to give the flexibility options for insurers about payments and, improve service and react quickly to market changes and its’ comprehensive software system designed to improve operational efficiencies and enhance the customer's experience with the company. New Billing methods applied for the EA (exclusive agents) states. Legacy Standard Billing has replaced with the new Billing system called as FS-CD.
Supporting the testers running the daily batches. Setting up the jobs and triggering, Data migration, Data refresh activities. After completion of running batches, analyzing the results and checking for correct population of data in the output files and folders in SAP FSCD. For improper data reporting them in defects.
The goal of the automated mechanical conversion project is to successfully convert all qualifying Farmers Personal Lines policies from the old Billing Systems (ASB, FSB, EasyPay) to the new FAB Billing System through an automated process.
Roles and Responsibilities:

The Incentive Compensation Express (ICE) project we will replace all of the folio and agent mainfile programs that are currently used to produce agents folio and agent statistical reports. One of the critical enhancements of ICE will be to provide agents with a daily update of their folio for the month. To allow ICE to update the agents folio information, we need every line of business that currently sends us folio information on a monthly basis to now also send a daily file.
