PROFESSIONAL PHILOSOPHY
Caring is a vital part of the health care profession. During my career, I often got joy out of seeing a patient’s face when I provided care to them and paid special attention to their loved ones as well. I love impacting lives. My professional philosophy as an advanced nurse practitioner will continue to be based on caring and impacting the lives of the patient I come in close contact with during my journey. Empowering patients/ and their love ones to live a healthy life-styles can make all the difference. Economics and geographical background play a significant factor in patients overall health. As a nurse practitioner, I must consider all the dynamics of the patient’s lifestyle while rendering treatment. As a health care provider, I have a duty/ obligation to meet the needs of the patients I provide care too in a clinical setting. Regardless of socio-economic background, ethnicity, or sexual preference every patient is entitled to the highest quality of care. All patients should be treated with respect and dignity. The key tenets of my philosophy with regard to the structural framework is respect (for the patient), empowerment, mutual respect for team members, and providing the highest quality of care to my patients.
“Dedicated to providing the highest quality of care across the Lifespan.”
