Telecom Engineer III: Responsible for physical X-connects, line coding and Circuit Turn ups of E1, T1, T3s. Knowledge of Head to Head testing of circuits using T-Berd 310, 209 and FireBerd 6000. Configure and option MUXs- ALC-TEL 3x50, Telco System 828, Fujitsu FLM 2400, 600 & 150 (SONET) and Nortel. Work with OC-192, 48, 12 and OC-3. Work with Ethernet circuits ranging from 10meg, 10Gig.Work on high bandwidth and gigE circuits on various equipment such as Anda, Overture, Tellabs 7100 (RODAM), and CIENA 6500. Switch Technician: Ran terminal cables (DS1s, DS3s). Cross-connect Glanayre Switch to DSX panel, Titan 5500 (DS3 to DS1), DSC dexcs (DS3 to DS1 to DS0); helped build new facility. Responsible for maintaining Glenayre paging switches including operation of Titan 5500 Dacs, Plus monitoring, restoring, testing and Troubleshooting individual trunks, T1s and buffers using TCOM test set.
