SUMMARY
With reference to the above mentioned subject, I am introducing myself as a fully qualified architect with over Twenty-one years of professional experience in the Gulf region and India. I have a strong background in Project management, Architectural design and implementation. I have outstanding knowledge and expertise in the design of Masterplan Developments, Mixed use commercial projects, Multi storied towers, 5* Hotel Projects, Office Buildings, Air Bases, Hospital, Amiri Terminal, Residential Projects and Landscape projects. My experience encompasses all stages of development from master planning, through design all stages of development from concept, through design development, project implementation and post contract completion. My current responsibilities cover to work as Client Technical support team Lead and related to all the design and construction activities with in KATARA cultural village and ASPIRE projects. As a Lead Architect, I have been involved with one of the most important client of KEOIC, KATARA Cultural Village and ASPIRE projects. I have worked at a senior level on a large number of developments in the middle east and India.
My experience of sophisticated, large scale developments in the Gulf region with leadership and business skills, comprehensive knowledge of my profession and creative abilities, fully justify my strength and my current senior position in KEOIC.

Lead Architect/Design Manager, January 2016-Present
For past Three years I have been working with well-known Multi National design Firm KEOIC as a Design review Team Leader of Multi-disciplinary team for one of the most ambitious and diverse Masterplan developments in Qatar, “KATARA Cultural Village and ASPIRE” projects as part of the Client’s Technical support team(TST).
Under Construction Projects:
-Upscale mixed use commercial Project: Commercial Plaza (1.1 Billion QR), Including one of its kind- a Gift Box shape building
-Souq style commercial project: South Plaza(750 M.QR), including Planetarium, Observatory and a Multiplex Cinema,
-Water villas and Restaurant: Marine Jetty and Water Chalets,
-Boutique Hotel, Theme restaurants and Forested Gardens at Katara Hills (around 230 M. QR),
-Maintenance, Redevelopment and Fit-out works of existing buildings,
-Kids theme park Kidzania,
-Aspire Academy,
-TSE plant at Aspire,
Under Design Projects:
-Mixed use Masterplan development which consists of an Iconic 5-Star Hotel, 5-Star Residential Tower, Luxury Bungalows, Cultural and Religious centre including Plazas and a Creek: KATARA Gate (2.4 Billion QR)
Role Objectives:
My main role in the current job is to lead the KEO TST for our client on all under construction and under design projects. The team consists of senior specialists of all disciplines, i.e., Mechanical, Electrical, Structure, Landscape, Sustainability, Illustrator and CAD operators.
Managing all the design consultants for ongoing design projects and providing technical support to the construction / project management teams for under construction projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Preparing RFP’s for new design projects and scope of works for new modification on under construction projects based on client brief ( project range between 4 Million QR up to Masterplan project of 3 Billion QR),
Responding to Design and Construction RFI’s,
Design Evaluation, Tender Evaluation, Review of CD/SD/DD/TD stage design drawings and documents and providing necessary approvals,
Attend Client and Technical Meetings,
Provide input to the routine presentations, progress, planning schedules and budget reports.

Design Manager – Architecture, Mar 2014 to Jan 2016
I have worked as a Design Team Leader for almost 2 Years with Multi National Japanese firm Obayashi Qatar LLC for one of the Mega project “Gensler designed Msheireb down Town Doha” Phase-3. Obayashi is well known name in GCC for its successful Landmark project in UAE-“Dubai Metro”.
Project Main Features are:
-Total 14 Buildings, Cost – 2.4 Billion QR, Built Up Area: More than 340,000 sqmts,
Functional Spaces: 10 Residential Towers, a Six Star Hotel, a Mosque and two Office Towers, with 4 basement parking floors including BOH spaces - Tower ranging from 6 to 23 floors.
Role Objectives:
I have joined the Obayashi-HBK JV team as a Design Manager-Architecture to handle 9-sub contractor’s site wide packages,
To provide technical assistance on architectural requirements, managed sub-contractors submissions, and reviewed EI’s.
To manage team of Architects and CAD technicians to prepare shop drawings, raised RFI’s and coordination with other disciplines.
Roles and Responsibilities:
I was assigned to handle the Design Team consists of 3 Architect coordinators and 3 CAD operators to handle 9-subcontractors packages spanning all 14 buildings, including fit out work.
Preparing Contractual Letters, Arranging Workshops/Meetings for required coordination among different subcontractors i.e. fit out/ Facade /MEP/Structure and Landscape works.
Helping Planning/Procurement/Material teams on day to day activities,
Liaising with site team on priorities/problems on the day to day activities,
Review, Manage, Monitor and Control the process of production of sub-contractors coordinated shop drawings in compliance with the given specifications and applicable standards
Attend Client and Technical Meetings, Prepare RFI’s, Review EI’s,
Provide input to the routine presentations, progress reports and schedules,
Finalization of Dubai Metro as built drawings and close out documents,
Bouygues Betiment Intl. (Doha)
Senior Architect / Design Manager, Jan 2011 to Feb 2014
I have worked for Multi National French Construction Company Bouygues Betiment International for more than 3.0 years on the major development project in Doha, Qatar- Qatar Petroleum Headquarter.
Project Main Features are:
-Cost – 3 Billion $ US, Built Up Area: More than 700,000 sqmts, Functional Spaces : 9 Office Towers, one Five Star Hotel Tower, Auditorium, Energy Centre Building, with 3 basement parking floors, 3 Podium Floors, with Towers ranging from 17 to 48 floors.
Role Objectives:
Provide Technical assistance to the Technical Department on Architectural requirements,
Manage Design team of 5 Architects and 7 CAD technicians to prepare shop drawings,
Raising RFI’s, Coordinating with other disciplines using BIM to achieve all stake holders and end users requirements.

I was assigned to handle 6 Towers and 8 Podium Areas including Landscaping works. I was also involved in preparation of routine presentations, Progress Reports/Schedules,
Production of coordinated/shop drawings, monitor and control the Sub-contractor submissions, in compliance with the given specifications and applicable standards,
Attend Client and Technical Meetings, Raise RFI’s, Review EI’s and BIM Coordination.

I have Joined “Arif and Bintoak” as a Senior Architect for Al Ghurair City Phase-II project.
Project handled:
-During my stay in Arif and Bintaok, I have worked mostly on Al Ghurair City Expansion project.
-I have also worked on Rulers Court-B+G+5, Burj Dubai Downtown- Emmar Tower # 50 and 51, Porsche, Audi and Volks Wagon Showrooms in Fujairah and Al Barari a Star Villas.
Main Features of Al Ghurair Project are:
-Total Cost: 600 Million $ US, Total Area: 155200 sqmt. Functional Spaces: 5 Star hotel, 5 Star Service Apartment Tower, Office Tower and an Upscale Mall.
Role Objectives:
Schematic, Design Development and Construction Documentation of Al Ghurair City Expansion Phase II project in compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.

I was responsible for Design Development and Construction Documentation of Al Ghurair City Phase II project, managing the design team including coordination with all other disciplines.
Construction Stage:
After the successful completion of design phase, I have joined construction supervision team as an Assistant Resident Architect. I was responsible for review and approval of all the Architectural/ ID Shop Drawings / Builders work drawings / Material Approvals / RFI’s,
Issuing LCI’s for the design changes and coordination with all other consultants.

Stanley Consultants Inc. is a US based multinational organization specialized in Airport and Infrastructure Projects. I was appointed to work on Al Dhafra and Al Minhad Air Base projects.
Projects Main Features:
-Project total cost is 800Million $ US, it includes 42 buildings.

Design Stage:
Concept development through SD/DD/CD/TD and issuance of IFC documentation. Coordination with other consultants & handling of the drafting staff.
Construction Stage:
I have joined supervision team for all three Building Packages at Al Dhafra base.
I was involved in Material approval, Shop drawing review and approval and site supervision.
Diwi Consult- Emirates (Abu Dhabi)
Design Architect, Nov 1999 to June 2001
DIWI Consult (Emirates) is an International German consulting firm based in Abu Dhabi. I was appointed to work on one of the prestigious project- SH. Zayed Township at Gaza ‘Palestine’.
Projects Main Features:
-Project consists of 52 Apartment buildings (5-12 floors) with total 3200 Apartments, Commercial & Community buildings, Supermarkets, Schools, Bank, 200 Bed Hospital, Medical Clinic, Mosques and Landscaping of complete site.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Concept, DD, TD and CD of 5-Story and 12-Story residential blocks and other Commercial and Community buildings.
Architectural detailing, drafting and coordination with Structure & MEP engineers was also part of my scope of work.
