Roles and responsibilities:

Implementation of IATF 16949:2016 standard requirements.

Development of PFD/FMEA/Control plan for New product/process developments along with cross functional team.

Ensure whether proper Quality tools are utilized during NPD projects.

Process and product Validation study, DOE for new machine implementations.

Product Fit Form & Function study for change control & NPD projects.

Analysis of Internal scrap performance and take appropriate actions to prevent them through 8D methodology in form of one pager projects.

Implementation of Poka Yoke in assembly machines to prevent defects.

Handling of Customer complaints and closure through 8D methodology.

Initiation of COPQ projects to reduce cost of poor quality through waterfall approach along with cross functional team and follow up for on time completion of projects.

Supporting Customer quality on Customer PPAP process.

Support for conducting SPC/MSA study for processes and instruments.

Control and monitoring of Waivers approval of products and processes.

Ensure Calibration of instruments according to the plan and maintaining them.

Greenfield project on implementation of IATF 16949:2016 standard requirement across the organization.

COPQ reduction project in spring guide riveting assembly machine through one pager project reducing the PPM from 800 to 50.

Implementation of QR code based Poka Yoke in assembly machine for traceability and identification.

Document linkage study across 4 value streams (PFD, PFMEA, Control plan, SOP, IIR, Setup verification).

Achievements:

Successful implementation of Quality pyramid, a tool developed towards achieving Zero defects goal.

Winner – Zero Defects campaign.

Implementation of IATF 16949:2016 certification in a short term of six months.

Streamlined the Change control process flow in India factory across 4 lead factories. Miscellaneous:
