A Study on fresh and hardened properties of M60 grade concrete by partial replacement of cement with nano aluminium oxide.

DESCRITION OF PROJECT:

Nano particles like nano alumina is used as replacement of cement by varying in percentages (i.e like 0%,0.5%,1%,1.5%,2% replacement for cement by nano alumina powder), the expected strength of concrete is more than the its target mean strength of its normal grade concrete, and the mix design of IS and ACI mix design are used for casting and we have to determine which shows greater strength . for adopting super plasticizer and 0.35 w/c ratio the IS shows greater strength than ACI mix. The reverse strength is observed at flexural strength tests.
