I am a well experienced steel detailer with a background in most types of steel construction. I have detailed structural steel in the fields of road and bridge construction, industrial, light asnd heavy commercial, aand West Coast commerecial. My work history includes:

Detailing industrial and TXDOT projects using Autocad and AutoSD detailing software.

2011 – 2017 Associated Steel Fabricators Inc.

Detailing road and bridge work, industrial, and light commercial using Autocad and AutoSD detailing software. 2004 – 2010—Grogan Hazel Steel

Chief draftsman. Grogan Hazel does commercial work only. Introduced Autocad and, later, AutoSD detailing software as detailing assets.

1992 2004—Self employed

Industrial and commercial work for fabricators such as Markle Manufacuring, North Shore Supply, Industrial Fabricators, and others. Began using Autocad as a

detailing tool and later added AutoSD in order to

produce EJE and CNC files.

1990—1992—Cadsteel Detailing (Austin)

Local commercial and heavy west coast commercial. Also served as chief Draftsman.

Prior to 1990 I worked in various types of steel engineering and construction companies, including 10 years in oilfield work. In the oilfield work I served, at various times, as project manager, construction manager, and engineering manager for a drilling company.
