RELEVANT TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
TATA TELESERVICES LTD., Delhi, India Jan 2016 - Jun 2016
RF INTERN
Checked for blocked calls, dropped calls and optimum intra-cell and neighbor handover functions of each site using AUTOIT Window Software
I was responsible for finding the cell sites with low performance and report those sites to site engineers.
Determined problem sites by using network key performance indicators and drive test data and alarms
Handled customer complaints very effectively and was responsible for drafting weekly and monthly reports such as KPI, HSIA and RF reports and handing them over to the RF manager.
SCHOLARLY PAPER
LICENSE ASSISTED ACCESS- INTEROPERABILITY WITH WI-FI Jan 2019 – May 2019
Understanding about LAA, 3GPP standardization and what makes LAA superior to using Wi-Fi alone.
Focused on issues regarding coexistence, deployment and interference.
Compared LTE-U and LAA.
PROJECTS
DOWNLINK COVERAGE ON A ROAD Jan 2019 - May 2019
Modelling two sectors and simulating the coverage of two base-stations on a road using Python, by calculating propagation loss, shadowing, fading and penetration loss.
Calculated the location of the user and if the base-stations could accommodate users for the given Grade of Service.
Determined where the handoffs between two base-stations is most likely to occur, number of channels in use, number of users successfully connected to the base-station, number of completed calls, number of handoff attempts, successful handoffs, handoff failures, number of call drops, number of block calls due to signal strength and Received Signal Level using Okamura- Hata Model.
Wi-Fi NETWORK PLANNING USING EKAHAU HEATMAPPER Aug 2018 – Dec 2018
Used the Ekahau Heatmapper tool to locate the coverage by the access points and detect security settings in the University Library.
Determined the signal strength levels based on the color schemes and calculated the Effective Data Rate, Throughput, SNR and Interference Information. Used this tool to understand the Wi-Fi standards, channel spacing, frequency requirements and adaptive power issues.
PACKET CAPTURING AND ANALYSIS USING EYE P.A Aug 2018 – Dec 2018
Determined the visible Wi-Fi traffic for quick analysis and diagnosis using Eye P.A tool. Observed Air-Time Utilization by Access Points, Clients and Packet types.
Identified sources of packet loss and slow transmission devices and how Eye P.A is different from Wireshark.
Wi-Fi TRAFFIC ANALYSIS USING VISIWAVE TRAFFIC Aug 2018 – Dec 2018
Capture wireless packets, analyze Wi-Fi Traffic on different frequencies, see data flow patterns and examine packet details using the Wi-Spy Adapter with Visiwave Traffic tool.
Analyzed the bits in each packet, sorting them by station and frame number.
ETHICAL HACKING OF SECURITY Aug 2018 – Dec 2018
Cracking of WPA and WPA2 with Penetration Testing using Kali Linux.
Achieved by using Aircrack-ng, when enough packets are captured and taking the advantage of vulnerabilities in RC4 key scheduling. The network card used is AWUS036NHA -IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wireless USB adapter.
Determined the password using brute force attacks against WPA handshakes based on a password wordlist.
The recommendation to this project was to use a password of over 16 characters and prevent social engineering.
RELIABLE DATA TRASFER USING UDP Aug 2017 - Nov 2017
Uni-directional data transfer between the client and the server is determined using Java UDP sockets to find Round-Trip Time in two phases of initial handshake and data transmission.
Implemented transfer of data using four packets, by programing each individual packet and calculating the packet type, sequence number, payload and integrity check.
Accomplished measuring and displaying the Round-Trip Time and Data Rate by the receiver, when both the client and server are run on the same computer, when client and server are connected through Ethernet cable and manually configuring the IP address of both computers using same subnet.
