Role: Senior Software Test Engineer

Description:

The website is integrated with different payment gateways like USAePAY, PAYPAL and Secure Trading, where I involved in gathering the payment information from the official gateway document and had a discussion with the project managers and get the dependencies cleared before testing the feature.

Based on the document, I will be preparing the test case for both positive and negative scenarios like Payment Decline / Success transactions and execute those test cases in STAGING environment.

For each and every test case, I have performed DATABASE test to check the data persistence and transaction status in its respective tables.

For Reporting and page views, the site is integrated with Google Tag Manager (GTM), where I have involved in verifying events triggered for each action using different tools like GTM Debugger and WASP.

The website is integrated with ADMIN site to create applications through an off-line mode by our agents where I have performed an extensive test on offline payment transactions, refund & chargeback process before the ADMIN portal is handled over to the Admin agents.

Automated those test cases using Selenium WebDriver and CUCUMBER – Page Object Model (POM) approach and executed them in both Staging & Production environment.

Test scripts are maintained in GIT repository.

Bugs faced are tracked in bug management tool – YouTrack and have them fixed before the features are pushed to production.

As a senior resource, I involved in Daily Scrum meeting with the other team leads and managers in regular interval to ensure the project is on track and will get the dependencies cleared then and therewithout any delay.

Role: Software Test Engineer

Description:

Building US Immigration forms like Citizenship, Naturalization, Green card Renewal (or) Replacement.

In this wizard, the customer has to fill in the questionnaires and as an end product we will be providing a PDF which are downloaded and integrated from USCIS, where the data’s filled by the customers will be mapped and the same will be submitted to USCIS portal.

In this process, based on the Product Requirement Document (PRD), I define the test case with respect to the different flows and execute them in a staging environment.

Validation test is done for each form fields with the help of Error message mask.

To check the pages are compatible with Browser/OS, I used various tools like Testing Bot and Browser Stack.

Functional test script is written using Selenium WebDriver + TestNG framework where it saved lots of time executing the various flows.

Performed Regression test.

Bugs identified during the execution of test case are tracked in Bugzilla and Github and have them fixed before the features are pushed to production.

Closely worked with the Designers and Developers to get the issues fixed which helped us to push updates to production server on time.
