Current Duties and responsibilities:

Presently working in CFP Project for commissioning and pre-commissioning activity under the supervision of Wood PMC (Project management control) through GS E&C (EPC contractor) As a safety engineer/pre-commissioning consultant.
• Provide filed support pre-commissioning work activity like Chemical cleaning, pneumatic test, Acid cleaning of compressor, flushing of lines (air and Steam blowing), Dry out and boil out, Catalyst loading and box up work, Mechanical run test, etc…
• Implementing company access control procedure for isolate the pre-commissioning and battery limit area from the construction work.
• Making Red board alerts for new startup pre commissioning activity and communicate to project people via TBT and OJT.
• Plan and set up Commissioning tools etc. and ensure safety of commissioning tools.
• Ensuring lock out and Tag out (LOTO) procedure implementation changing construction phase to pre-commissioning activity.
• Ensuring SIMOPS activity in pre-commissioning area and implement SIMOPS risk assessment and SIMOPS check list on the place.

Ruwais Refinery Expansion Project is owned by Abu Dhabi oil Refining Company
(TAKREER), the Process capacity is 127.2 KBPSD with an equivalent 18,801 MT per operating day of RFCC feedstock in normal mode of operation. The function of the unit is catalytic cracking of various oil streams. These feed stocks crack into lower boiling, high value products, primarily Polymer Grade Propylene (PGP), LPG and LCO products. The unit also produces a feed to the Ethylene Recovery Unit (ERU) and Slurry oil product. Jacobs is the project management contractor (PMC).
GS E&C was awarded U$3.11billion Ruwais Refinery as an EPC contractor, and constructs RFCC (Residue Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Unit) process, which is the main process of the project. GS E&C executes whole engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and plant startup operation work, etc….
Current Duties and responsibilities:
• To deal with Emergency situation in case of emergency as Emergency Task Force Leader and react quickly to minimize the consequences of the events, communicate to higher ups
• Provide field support during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup of new facilities including field EH&S observations and interventions during Construction and pre-commissioning activities.
• Responsible for ensuring all statutory safety, Health & Environment (SHE) and security regulations and requirement area implemented in compliance with relevant legislations.
