Preserve the diverse natural and cultural resources located within the park by enforcing laws and regulations delineated in 36 Code of Federal Regulation. Provides level of care (CPR, FIRST AID) as needed to visitors. Communicating with chief ranger on all concerns and issues to mitigate any risk and safety issues, which may restrict the safe management of the park, and impede visitors’ experience. Patrolling the area both on land and by boats utilizing different size vessels with GPS and radar units. Ensure compliance with U.S. Coast Guard 33 CFR and NPS 36 CFR by boarding and inspecting vessels for proper safety equipment, using an appropriate level of enforcement by issuing citations or warnings for any violations as well as making arrests when warrant for boating under the influence (BUI). Foster and collaborate relationships with multiple law enforcement agencies, both state and federal, to locate possible drug and migrant smuggling activities.

Completed oil and filter change on a quarterly basis, repairing any small electrical or mechanical failures, ensuring vessel was on time for daily departures.
