Microsoft Office Applications- Excel, One Note, PowerPoint, Word
Design and drafting software/applications-Solid Works Simulation, AutoCAD
Programming languages-Visual Studios, C++, LabVIEW, MATLAB
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
Central Contra Costa Sanitary District, Martinez, CA
Engineering Intern January 2018 -August 2018
Assisted department engineers on several key government projects involving sewer renovations and improvements, and replacement of deteriorating sewers.
Estimated quantities and cost of materials, equipment and labor to determine budget.
Conducted on site investigations and analyzed data. (maps, reports, tests, and drawings)
Created drawings and reports required for Lafayette, Walnut Creek, Orinda, Moraga.
Coordinated with city officials and PG&E to acquire permits and prepare work schedules.
CLASS PROJECTS:
Senior Design Project Fall 2017 -Spring 2018
Objective: ASME 2019 Student Design Competition
Designed a robot to pick various sized balls ranging from ping pong to basketball off PVC pipes, and place them into a scoring area.
Fabricated over 100 parts using the lathe and milling machine, with an intent not to exceed tolerances.
Performed failure mode element analysis on possible fatigue failures.
Performed finite element analysis to ensure the force of the balls would not cause failure.
Placed 4th out of 22 teams; other teams had triple the budget and 3 to 4 times the number of members.
Automated Desk Project Spring 2017
Objective: Redesign an automated desk to withstand three times the load
Coordinated a team of 5 students on the project, prepared schedules, assigned various tasks to perform including modeling, analysis, disassembly and reassembly.
Modeled a new design to hold up to five times the initial load without failure.
Performed finite element analysis to ensure no failure from buckling or static, analyzed data to generate stress-strain curves via MATLAB.
Infrastructure CAD Design Project Fall 2016
Objective: Develop CAD modeling skills for design
Created models and drawings of University of the Pacific’s Biology Lab using AutoCAD tools.
Drafted a model classroom accounting for light fixtures, 150 students, multiple whiteboards.
Developed model and blueprints for a garage, capable of holding 100 vehicles, multiple entry points and exits, one elevator, and adequate lighting.
Coordinated a team of 4 students to fabricate a gyroscope using lathe and milling machines.
ADDITIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE
Senior Tutor, University of the Pacific, Stockton, CA February 2014 -December 2017
Instructed various subjects ranging from English to Advanced Physics.
Coordinated with Dr. Larwood to assist students in SolidWorks simulation lab.
Consulted with students and help tutees to find the ideal tutors for them.
