Activities Performed: Achieving Construction activities like Excavations, Foundation, PCC, Waterproofing, RCC and Shuttering, Steel fixing, Casting Concrete etc.; follow-up with Design Engineers for Structural Drawing for Minor changes, as per Site Requirement and Inspection before casting walls slabs etc. Preparation of Subcontractor Bills; Provided Technical guidance to contractors’ personals, checking and certification of R A Bills, measurement sheets, making day to day work progress report to head office, co-ordinate with contractors & different department at head office; manpower planning to reduce manpower cost; to manage resource and Equipment to Achieve Project completion within time line.

The contract value of the project is Rs 280 Cr and completion period is 48 months.

I am responsible for the completion of 21 No.s of Main Road bridges(Major bridges,Minor bridges,concrete Girder’s,pier cap,box Culverts,Cut & Cover,siwarage treatment plant) and Road side drains,Utility Duct.

The salient features of the bridges are:

1. Single lane road way Bridge, Double lane road way Bridge.

2. Maximum Length of Bridge is 100 mtr,Maximum Height of Bridge 32mtr.

3. Total quantity of concrete of all Bridges is 100000 cum.

4. The employer of the project is CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF JAMMU

5. The Design consultants are Sikka Associates, Delhi

6. Bridge works completed and Drains completed

My Role and Responsibility in the Project:

1. I am responsible for execution of the works as per specification mentioned in the contract and drawings.

2. Day to day allocation of works to about 260 no.s of workmen with 6 supervisors.

3. Monthly sub-contractor bills for the work executed by me.

4. Monthly client bills for the work executed by me.

5. Calculations of material required and forecast of requirement.

6. Dalily work progress sent to the client.
