Manager, Flight Operations Support – Saudi Gulf Airlines Dammam, KSA

In addition to the usual managing of personnel in the department, my main achievement on my current position is I was able to develop and document the processes required in our department that have eventually help members of our department in performing their respective roles. I authored our Operations Crew Support manual that detailed the department objective and processes. And like any other manuals, implementation is a key, thereby presenting this to the higher ups as well as to the members of the department is of vital importance. Today, I can proudly state that I contributed enormously to the success of our department as witnessed by its smooth operation that complimented by my peers and the higher management.

June 2003 – June 2016 (13 Years)

Manager, Operations Crew Support & Training – NasJet Business Aviation, JED & RUH KSA I started as Administrative Assistant to the Sales and Marketing Department doing all administrative assistance to the department. In 2004, I was transferred to the Training Department as Coordinator works closely to the Director of Training and Director of Operations for the scheduling of Training requirements for crewmembers including proper monitoring of crew recency on their aircraft and seat assignments. In addition to being Supervisor, I was also the Drug and Alcohol Program Coordinator and Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT). I administer initial and recurrent indoctrination to all crewmembers holding safety sensitive position in the operations. Similarly conducts random Alcohol testing as per our program. In June 2010, I was assigned as Aircraft and Crew Scheduler at the Operations Center for 6 months.

In January 2011, I was promoted to a Manager, Operations Crew Support and Training. In addition to the above responsibilities, I oversaw the following:

Conducts classroom indoctrination and document processing for the newly hired Cabin and Cockpit Crewmember to simplify the process of integration and adaptation to the company rules and regulations.

Administers and schedules SIM training for Crewmembers at selected training vendor’s abroad to maintain currency on their seat and aircraft assignments.

Ensures uninterrupted subscriptions of Aircraft Flight Management System (FMS), Data Bases and Jeppesen Manuals for all aircrafts operated by NasJet-Business Aviation.

Updates Company General Operations Manual (GOM), Flight Operations Manual (FOM) and Operations Specifications (OpsSpecs) in line with the regulatory requirements of the local aviation authority.

Performs a variety of tasks; conducted employee reviews, designed task assignments and participated on employee’s development program to drive continuous improvement.

Provides excellent customer service that includes maintaining an open honest relationship with the crew and operated in a professional manner that represents both the employees and company’s best interest.

I was also a member of the NasJets Audit Team who regularly audits Aviation Vendors abroad – the objective of the audit is to assess the current operations of the aviation vendor to determine areas where they could improve their efficiency, effectiveness, and safety of its aviation operations. Accordingly, such audits included checks of the records and procedures considered necessary; the administrative processes and executive use, continuing need of safety, proper operation of aircraft, and crew records.

I started as Administrative Assistant to the Area Manager and main responsibility was to assist the area manager in the smooth operations of 18 Branches in Riyadh area. After two years, I was transferred to the Credit Card Center as MIS personnel and my main responsibility is to look after the delinquent customers and accordingly recommend them to be included to the C-List of SAMA.
