Apr’10 – Dec’18: Ramboll Oil & Gas, Abu Dhabi-UAE
Position Held: Business Development Manager
Transferred from Ramboll-Qatar to newly established Ramboll-Abu Dhabi office.
Ramboll-Abu Dhabi office was established in 2009 to tap the UAE’s O&G market.
Was reporting to MD- Middle East, to explore local business opportunities and establish Ramboll brand in the local market.
Maintained strong relationships with key contacts in existing accounts and developed new accounts. My strength is identifying emerging market trends, discover gaps and identify niches to develop strategic business development plans and strategies. I have demonstrated ability to gain Customer trust and provide exceptional follow-up, leading to increased repeat and referral business.
I was involved in Registration and Pre-qualification process with all Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Group of companies in UAE.
My responsibilities include Project Coordinator with various offices of Ramboll world-wide to complete the technical and commercial bid submissions within time frame with quality & quantity, as required. Involved in decision making meetings, for commercial bids.
In the initial phase of the Office, I was the Local Coordinator for engineering activities between UAE based Clients to Ramboll’s various world-wide offices for the awarded contracts.

a.“EPIC for Inst Air System for Crude Oil Tank Farm, Mesaieed ” for Qatar Petroleum.
b.“Metering Stations at ORYX (modification) & Qatar Gas (New)” for GASAL Company Q.S.C.( AirLiquid, France joint Venture)
The work consisted of managing multi-disciplinary engineering execution tasks, conducting review meetings with clients and vendors as required and taking actions for mitigating slippages in schedule.
The job responsibility included contract management with respect to allocated budget in terms of man-hours and cost by constant review of outputs.
The lessons learnt during execution of the contract were uploaded on frequent basis to improve working performance.
Deputed to GASAL office as a Technical Coordinator between Design office and Site office during erection & commissioning of the project.
Jan’08 – Jan’09: Electrowatt-Ekono Sdn Bhd., Brunei
Position Held: Lead Engineer (Department Manager)- Control & Automation/ Project Engineer
Electrowatt-Ekono had three years of engineering services Frame Agreement contract with Brunei Shell company (BSP) and Brunei LNG company (BLNG) for on-shore and off-shore assets.
Led a team of 20 (engineers & designers).
Responsible for managing & controlling ‘Control & Automation’ design department.
Supported organization as a Project Engineer/Project coordinator for multidisciplinary engineering projects.
Worked as Interface Manager between Client & EPC Contractor (appointed by Client) for Instrumentation oriented projects for procurement assistance and to resolve site queries.
As a Department Manager, I was responsible to review and approve documents & drawings before submission to Client.
Helped engineers to resolve technical issues.
Responsible for man-hours estimation. Attended Man-hour challenge meetings.
Was responsible to allocate manpower to all projects.
Conducted interviews for recruitment as well as performance reviews.

Position Held: Joint General Manager- Instrumentation division
Essar Engineering Centre was newly established engineering company of Essar Group, to cater engineering requirements of group companies for O&G production, refinery, steel, construction projects.
Led a department of 25 engineers plus designers.

Ensured smooth running of projects & department activities
Lead Engineer for OSBL projects of Jamnagar Refinery Expansion – Phase 1 and 2 projects. The project scope was design, erection & commissioning of 67 tanks.
Jan’05 – Jul’06: JGC Corporation, Yokohama, Japan
Position Held: Asst. Lead Instrument Engineer/Engineering Coordinator- Instrument
Worked on major project, ‘Sumitomo-Saudi-Aramco: Rabigh Refinery, Saudi Arabia’.
Involved in FEED and Detail design of Saudi-Aramco-Sumitomo joint venture’s Rabigh Development project; a world class Refinery complex at Rabigh, Saudi Arabia. JGC was a lead EPC contractor. Yokogawa was process control system provider.
Was responsible for Engineering-Coordination between JGC Yokohama and JGC-Philippines (JPHIL) for DCS/ESD system engineering documents and construction dwgs for which engineers were working in JPHIL on InTools, PDMS (3D-Model) modules.

Worked on Formosa’s Petrochemical project.
Involved in Detail design of IIP (Integrated Isocynates Project) Shanghai, China project. It is a joint consortium team (Shanghai-Flour, Huntsman America, Daelim Korea, BASF Germany) involved in this grass-root project.
