CAREER SUMMARY
Currently holding the position of Senior Quantity Surveyor on the Gold Line Metro Project which comprises the design and build of 10 stations, tunneling and auxiliary structures (such as stabling yards and switch boxes) of value 3.3 billion USD in Doha, Qatar.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, I am responsible for managing the administration of all contractual and commercial activities related to the MEP works for the largest section of Gold Line Ras bu Abboud Station, Stabling yard
& Central cooling plant of the Gold line Metro Project. I am currently working towards MRICS as an APC Candidate membership No: 6832259 to reinforce my knowledge and experience.
Educated as a Mechanical Engineer in India and more than 13 years of experience in various aspects of Quantity Surveying including both Pre & post Contract stages with reputed Main Contractors / Cost Consultants Experience in matters of contract management and quantum with respect to FIDIC and bespoke forms of Contract in the fields of Metro Rail, Hotels, mixed- use development, High Rise Residential & Commercial Buildings, Central Cooling Plant & rail works in the middle east.

Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Manage all the aspects of the commercial administration part of the projects, subcontract administration, progress invoicing and preparation of projects’ financial projections, Presenting the monthly cost reports, periodical forecast, reconciliation of the Station costs against the forecast, and identifying the key commercial issue and reporting to the Area Commercial Manager.
Advise and assist in the preparation of agreement of interim valuations and final accounts, both from Subcontractors and to the client. Presentation of documentation in relation to subcontracts, ensuring the subcontract terms and conditions reflect obligation undertaken by the contract. Ensure that subcontract costs are monitored and controlled against agreed budgets, and that cost information is accurately recorded and regularly presented to appropriate personnel in a clear and concise format. I work closely with the main contracts department and coordinate the preparation of quantum and collection of evidence from the sites for variations and claims against the client. I am also responsible for the review and close-out of MEP subcontracts.
