Title: Mitigation of power quality issues by using facts device Description: In the present scenario, the commercial and industrial electrical loads are mostly inductive in nature causing lagging or low power factor which gives high penalties to consumers. This situation is taken care by automatic power factor controller. In this, measuring of power factor from load is done by using Atmega328 Microcontroller and this MC will switch on the capacitors in order to compensate the reactive power or lagging power factor in the load. Workshops:

• Participated and got third prize in RoboKart workshop in association with Innovation Cell UMIC, IIT Bombay.

• Participated in PLC Fundamentals workshop Phase-1 &Phase-2 (2017-18) organized by Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation(APSSDC). Extra Curricular Activities:

• Anchoring for events conducted in college.
