Project #1

Title : Revenue Management Billing

Environnement : Oracle 10g, SAP Business Objects

Role : Senior Developer-Lead

Responsibilities include:

• Getting business requirements from Product Owner to understand business needs and after analyzing the requirement discuss possible scenarios and resolving any apparent conflicts. Propose the User Story Point based on the Acceptance Criteria.

• Preparing high level design for Reporting regarding template in case of new report, mapping and process flow.

• End to end report development process design with proper mapping to create classes and objects in the Universe. Create Joins between the classes and check for the Integrity to make sure no Loops are formed. Create derived tables when requires complex calculations and functions in Universe.

• Universe (.UNV)- Business Objects Universe is the semantic layer that resides between an organization’s database and the end user but more importantly, it is a business representation of your data warehouse or transactional database. It allows the user to interact with their data without having to know the complexities of their database or where the data is stored.

• Unit testing of developed report and having it properly documented in UTC (Unit test case) document. Peer code review of developed code and providing code review signoff (Using PLATINUM’s code reviewer).

• Deploying code to Bit bucket and merge code into PROD environment. After migration need to execute PROD validation queries to validate report.

• Preparing CNTRL-M sheet with job execution sequence in PROD and considering proper dependency on Source files and parent job completion. Testing this scheduling in lower environment and after testing implementing it in Production.
