I recently graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara and I have been looking for job positions on data analysis and data mining. I am writing to you today to apply for the date scientist position.
I have a bachelor’s degree in statistical science and a minor in philosophy that developed my analysis skills and critical thinking. I know that my analysis skills and my knowledge on data mining will be valuable to this job position. My experience with analyzing data comes from working with programing languages such as R Studio and Python. Also, I am comfortable working with excel, csv files, and text files which is where a lot of the data I worked with came from. Throughout college I have learned and developed my analysis with time series, machine learning, and regression analysis.
I want to keep on developing my analytical and data mining skills throughout this job. This could be a great start to my career by learning from my supervisors and colleagues. I hope that this job could give me the challenge I need to keep on growing.
