PROFILE

I am a British expat currently living in Norway who is a motivated, adaptable and responsible web developer seeking employment.

During my time working at Highsoft and Ethitec, I successfully combined my work with other commitments showing myself to be self-motivated, organised and capable of working under pressure. I have a clear, logical mind with a practical approach to problem solving and a drive to see things through to completion. I feel my biggest strength is my programming ability and the joy I get with working with computers. I enjoy working on my own initiative or in a team. Contributed to programming Highcharts Cloud as well as their Editor. Using ReactJS and NodeJS. Converted server to an AWS environment

INTERESTS AND ACTIVITIES

In my spare time, I am creating a Java (libgdx) game that connects to a restful web service being coded in PHP using Laravel. I am doing this as I enjoy working in PHP and want to remain up to date in the language from my studies in university. I hope to release this on the app store and play store once completed. I have been working on this for around 1 and years now and would gladly show this off to you if interested.

A course I really enjoyed in university in final year, was where I designed a web restful service using PHP for a movie database. Finally I used a raspberry pi to set up my own server and host this web service on. My excitement for this came across in my grades as they were one of the highest in the class.
