Assist in smooth transition of all manual operations to automation.

Analyze system generated batch reports, trends, interlock reports and identify abnormalities, process deviations, unsafe operations, manual interventions.

Prepare, review and update P&ID, PFD, SFC and check compatibility of all process piping, equipment, vessels, instruments, line sizing for approval before start up.

Coordinate between R&D, production, process safety, projects, instrumentation, IMS teams for troubleshooting abnormalities and addressing quality issues in production.

Look after solvent losses during distillations and minimize them by making necessary changes in design and operations.

KEY SKILLS:

Application of chemical engineering principles and methods in industrial scale for achievement of better yield, quality, safe operation in agro & fine chemical manufacturing.

Good understanding in various industrial aspects of chemical manufacturing involving complex reactions, distillation, crystallization, filtration, drying, waste treatment, scrubber systems.

Good knowledge in safety aspects of raw material handling, critical equipment handling, critical process parameters, quality by design.

Provide sound basis of understanding for implementation of a working DCS phase logic, recipe, process safety interlocks and process control strategies.

Hands on experience in advanced control strategies involving safe operations in chemical manufacturing.

Hands on experience in designing phase logic for critical process control operations involving simultaneous addition of raw materials, N2 padding, temperature control

(heating &cooling ramp), phase separations, pH control, batch distillation, column distillation, crystallization.

Hands on experience in designing basis for emergency shutdown procedures of DCS, failure case scenarios of instruments, critical equipment.

Hands on experiences in operating vacuum pumps, powder transport systems, plate- type heat exchangers, industrial thermal fluids, providing automation logic for direct & indirect heat exchange loop.
