SUMMARY

Master’s graduate in Mechanical Engineering with hands-on project experience and knowledge in Design, Thermal Systems and Renewable Energy Systems seeking a full-time opportunity from 25th June 2019. EDUCATION

• Master of Science, Mechanical Engineering (GPA 3.07) (MAY 2019) Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona

• Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering (CGPA 3.5) (MAY 2017) Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology, Vasad, India SKILLS

• Certifications: Core Java- JJCSM, AutoCAD- Udemy, ANSYS-Workbench - Udemy

• Other skills: MS suite, Solidworks, MATLAB, C++, Plant predict, Xendee, PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• SIEMENS- Thermal Design Intern (August 2016 to April 2017)

• Designed and manufactured a heat exchanger in AutoCAD that can convert waste heat into electricity without any extra power input using Thermo-Electric modules.

• Participated in developing analysis procedure for durability load cases. And performed meshing and connecting parts based on the project requirements.

• Experience in performing thermal simulation for steady and transient conditions with gradual temperature increase and thermal shock modeling.

• Hands on experience with performing cost analysis to ensure the accurate cost saving on product design, manufacture and installation costs.

• Worked with suppliers to obtain pertinent material properties and information.

• Ohm Engineers- Design Engineer Intern (April 2016-June 2016)

• Designed thermal process equipment, primarily heat exchangers, according to customer requirements.

• Analyzed products for thermal efficiency using CFD and other mathematical models.

• Drafted technical reports and presentations for multiple clients.

• Developed and maintained excellent working relationships with customers and team members in support of overall company objectives.

• Facility Supervisor: Sun Devil Fitness Complex (ASU) (May 2018- May 2019)

• • • Assist Maintain Assist with event progressive Facility team with Managers knowledge executing with of event general SAC logistics programs facility for operations. and the range facilities. of events Provide and exceptional programs which customer includes service. setting up PROJECT • EXPERIENCE and Work tearing with the down Event large-Specialists scale events on shift as well to ensure as informal that the recreation. media is set up.

• Forward Operating Base (FOB)- Microgrid (January 2018- May 2018)

• Compared to different scenarios which include Generators, PV and Batteries to see what combination of the above three can help reduce the fuel consumption in FOB thereby producing electricity at a lower cost.

• Found out that if we use a combination of PV, generator, and batteries to meet the load requirements of FOBs then it will be very economical.

• Plasmonic metal nanostructures for efficient conversion of solar to chemical energy (January 2019- May 2019)

• Researched some conventional methods which use a semiconductor to convert solar to chemical energy.

• Concluded that if nanostructures of plasmonic metals like Ag, Au are used with semiconductors then the efficiency of conversion increases to a great extent. Also, it enhances the rate of methods like Water-Splitting, etc.

• Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) & Impact on Electricity Industry (January 2018- May 2018)

• Researched about advantages and disadvantages, Scope in future, impact on the current electricity market of Community Choice Aggregation.

• Concluded that CCAs will cover 85% of California’s retail load by 2020, which will prove to be helpful in the energy crisis. It is in 7 states and work is in progress in 3 more states and could become a more dominant structure in the market.
