Duties and responsibilities:-

•To have single point responsibility for the execution of engineering projects of multidiscipline nature through the following stages,

-From handover of the concept through to the development of a fully defined project specification.

-Definition of project strategy and plan and gaining acceptance from management for the execution in accordance with that strategy.

-To prepare tender documents and evaluate subsequent bids on a commercial and technical basis and prepare recommendations for contract award.

-To exercise control over manpower and resources in order to execute the project in accordance with management approved strategy, whilst maintaining project expenditure within budget.

-To report progress on projects in a timely manner highlighting issues that could impact on quality, cost or schedule.

•Primary interfacing with project management on matters relating to development of engineering progress, quality, scope and schedule.

•Assessment of deliverable needs, preparation of engineering schedule and estimation of design engineering man hours for the projects.

•Review package/skid vendor drawings for E&I interface. Revise P&IDs as per the new changes to E&I portion.

•Preparation and management of the production of project completion documents e.g. operation & maintenance manuals from vendor, maintenance schedules, As Built drawings, inspection, testing and commissioning certificates for handover to the client.

•Float material requisitions (PR&CR), create WBS, release orders, functional locations and spare parts list in SAP.

•To give support to other discipline engineers and approve their electrical documents.

Project: - Heater Safety System(HSS) Project

Duties and responsibilities:-

Working as QA/QC Lead reporting to Engineering Coordinator. Fully in charge for maintaining quality in the project as per SAMREF’s Project Quality plan.

Key activities:-

Monitor all quality related activities on the project.

Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.

Review quality inspection personnel qualification and training requirements

Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the Contractor’s QC Manager.

Monitor the disposition of all issued non conformance reports (NCRs).

Support the quality inspectors to ensure the construction activities and materials to be used in job site if it is relevant to the requirements of the project specification. Provide direction in implementing Work Packages/Inspection plans, Receipt Inspections.

Also installed street lighting for the full plant.

Engineers Office(EO) 1361 Ware house Project at Nad al Sheba, Dubai:- A commercial project that consisted of five warehouses, Services buildings and staff accommodation building, of total Power consumption of 7.5MVA.

Etihad Airways office tower at Abu Dhabi: - Modification of Electrical room to comply comments and requirement of local authority and installation of additional HVAC units.
