Contact: Keith Whitson, former publisher, 423-***-**** Managing Editor (June 2013 – Present): Duties include managing the members of the editorial staff, including news writers, feature writers and sports writers. I am primarily responsible for planning the newspaper’s weekly coverage and maintaining its social media presence. In addition to my editorial duties, I am also responsible for writing a significant portion of our news and sports coverage. I am the primary page designer for the newspaper, as well as our sports photographer. I also wrote a column titled “Nerd’s Eye View.” My duties also include managing the newspaper’s website and designing advertisements for print. Staff Writer (September 2011 – June 2013): Duties included covering local news events, as well as writing feature stories.
