Ability to lead manpower required to perform installation of networking devices and all cabling required to support those network devices: routers, receivers, demodulators, modulators, all that apply.

Installation of low voltage cabling (coax, twisted pair and fiber optic) in High Density Data Center Applications.

Pull cable (quad/individual RG-59 coax, Cat 5/6 twisted pair, fiber optic OM1,2,3,4 & OS1,2) in large quantities often exceeding 500 cables to a single cabinet.

Terminate cables with MCX, BNC, RJ-45, and other connectors.

Dress/secure cabling professionally within cabinets and cable tray/ladder rack in either square or round bundles, secured with wax string (laced), Velcro or tie wraps.

Label all cables both ends as specified by customer.

Test cables and provide documentation as specified by customer. Familiar with Fluke ethernet and optical power meter testers as well as multi-meters and OTDR’s.

Rack and stack of many types of switching and distribution hardware e.g. Cisco, Avaya, Corning, installing cards as required.

Install horizontal and vertical wire management and power distribution as specified by customer.

Install grounding and bonding of hardware as required ANSI EIA/TIA 607.

Cross or direct connect cabling as specified to provide complete link/channel as required.

Observe/follow OSHA safety regulations.

Possess all hand tools required to perform all tasks.
