Travel contract. Infusion room with 15 chairs and 2 beds. Primary duties included

starting IV’s (or accessing Central lines) on each patient prior to scheduled infusion;

conducting brief physical assessment, medication reconciliation, pertinent changes in

history since last visit. Pre-medicated all patients per physician orders prior to infusion (including hydration).

Released all medication orders to pharmacy for mixing of drug. Infused ordered medications per facility guidelines and physician orders.Monitored patients closely during infusions. Treated any untoward reactions or side effects of infusion per protocol.Medications infused included: IVIG; Tysabri; high dose methylprednisone; blood, platelets, fresh frozen plasma; albumin,Reclast, various iron preparations; enzyme replacements; Remicade; Rutuximab; Entyvio and other mono-clonal antibody preparations;Bellatacept (anti-rejection for post transplant).
