Having studied both Geology and Environmental Management, I have been volunteering as a geologist for the past year but my love for environmental management has remained and I would like to pursue it as a career. 1. Volunteer as a Junior Geologist (November 2018 to current). Lets’eng Diamond Mine.
Duties:
• Undertake geological mapping activities to enhance understanding of geological
• Control on ore and waste delineation.
• Ensure minimum dilution during ore loading.
• Ensure accurate and efficient selective loading.
• Interact with medium and short term planning on planning and execution
• Schedule.
• Monthly reconciliation process to reconcile planned with actual production data.
• Ore Stockpiles daily inspections.
• Logging of diamond drill core in order to delineate the ore body.
• Logging of production blast hole chips.
• Perform open pit mapping and sampling projects.
• Assist in the calculation of reserves and resources.

2. Volunteer as a Junior Geologist (May 2018 - October 2018) at Ministry of Mining Lesotho.
Duties:
• Digitizing geological maps.
• Field work, geological mapping and report writing.
• Geochemical analysis of stream sediments.
• Basic administrative work; writing proposals, taking minutes in meetings, liaising with different departments for effective work within the ministry.
• All EIA work in regards to mining prospecting licenses.
• Adhering to SHE practises and guidelines.
3. Student Assistant 2017 (11 months). University of Johannesburg. Duties:
• Providing administrative support i.e. photocopying, printing, faxing, scanning, answering phone calls.
• Processing application forms for enrolment in the university.
• Helping with applications, registration and international clearance.

SOCIAL AND COMMUNITY SERVICE:
The Community of Saint’ Egidio:
A community that seeks at helping the poor and vulnerable by creating the school of peace, soup kitchen and serving Christmas lunch every year. I am a loyal member of this community as a volunteer who seeks to make the world a better place for the needy and poor. The community originates in Italy but I was a member of the community in Lesotho from 2011 to the current date. We not only provide food and clothes for the poor, but we also engage with them by trying to understand them and actually get to hear their problems and struggles they face on a daily basis so as to offer emotional support as well.
