Part of HGST’s Branded Business Group (formerly Hitachi Global Storage Technologies) leading a small group of QA Engineers, assisting customer support group with new issues, researching new technologies and ways to improve our QA testing processes.

Served as the QA main point of contact for all software and hardware storage issues across entire G-Technology team in US and Japan

Performed EVT, DVT, FC, and RC test cycles on Mac 10.9-10.14 & Windows 7-10 operating system platforms for G-Technology’s direct attached storage RAID Storage Utilities

Manual/black box tester for online flash based site – HYPERLINK "http://www.photoshow.com" www.photoshow.com, a.k.a. Roxio Online, and PhotoShow desktop software that created slideshows of user’s photos. Also tested desktop software for their EMC software line.

Comprehensively examined Easy Media Creator (EMC) versions: 10.x to 11.x from Alpha to Release phase. Focused areas included Registration, Activation, Client/Server backend, Updater, and Online Services testing.

Performed Acceptance, Ad Hoc, Regression, Functional, Configuration, Installer, Stress, and Localization testing for EMC and Roxio Online applications. System testing included Windows XP and Vista, Apple Mac along with different web browsers such as IE, FireFox, and Safari.

Worked with off shore team in India to align testing schedules and go over test results.

Collaborated in agile/scrum development and team reporting process for Roxio Online services from start to launch.
