Am seeking/looking for a Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist (CDS) position in your institution.
Am a Clinical Documentation Specialist with advanced level training and extensive experience and familiarity with ICD-10 CM and PCS guidelines, clinical documentation for inpatients and outpatients as well as with query generation, DRGs, HCCs and physician communication.
A Foreign Medical Graduate with more than 10 years experience working in acute care settings and the intensive unit, possessing extensive varied clinical experience and medical knowledge that can be applied to making sure that clinical documentation is precise, accurate and reflective of the care provided.

Sept. 2017- March 2018: Advanced level CDIP Training Program that included AHIMA clinical documentation ethics, AHA coding clinic reviews, advanced level clinical documentation reviews for compliance with ICD 10 guidelines, Medicare medical necessity, OSHA and JACHO compliant documentation, and generation of compliant queries, identification of CCs, MCCs, HACs and Core measure related documentation.
August 2010 – 2013: M. Sc., Biology with a major in Forensic Biology and thesis in bioinformatics analysis. Cleveland State University and Majored in Malaria and Forensic Biology.
October 1999 –May 2001: Attended Ultrasound Diagnostic School later Sanford Brown College, Dallas, Texas; Completed 1000+ hrs of intensive lectures in Basic Science, Anatomy & Physiology, Pathology, EKG Studies and 900hrs of Practical Lab.

Nov. 2000- Dec 2011: Worked for Clinical record reviewer and dictation Specialists, as a Medical Record Reviewer at Fairview and South Points Hospitals, both located in Cleveland Ohio. Interacted extensively with providers and other medical team members.
May 2017- Mar 2019: Program Chair and Clinical Coordinator, Diagnostic Medical Cardiovascular Sonography, Stautzenberger College, Brecksville, Ohio: Where I have been involved in both running the Dept. that includes but not limited to, teaching core courses, which includes Biostatistics and Basic and Clinical courses among others.
