Project 1 (Casino Slots Games)

Team size: 8 Duration: Since September 2016 till February 2018

This project is casino slots game too where user can enter and play different slot machines having a variety of bonus games and rewards. User requires spinning a machine and triggering a bonus game based on the combination of the reels. All the machines had different arts and themes having some pop culture significance

Role as Tester: My role as a tester was to deal with preparing and executing test cases and presenting a detailed report about the percentage of failed, pass, NA and blocked checks. This is accompanied with a list of all bugs/tickets filed in the defect tracking tool. During this testing cycle we also make sure to check-in with the developers regarding any issue and to provide them with as much info as possible which includes screenshots, logs, Videos etc. At the end of the cycles, once all issues have been fixed or resolved we run a quick sanity before rolling out the project

Project 2 (Instant Games)

Team size: 10 Duration: Since March 2018 till present

This project is a new way for people to play games across social networking platforms such as Facebook powered by HTML5 technology. It allows people to find and play games directly in the messenger conversation on both desktop and mobile devices.

Role as a Tester: As a tester my job was to test the game and to evaluate its performance across all platforms. While testing the game, I check if the game is free from any lag, pixilation or any disoriented graphics. I run the test the game and make sure all issues are reported. In the end of the cycle we check-in with developers and discuss on stable the game is. After being satisfied on all ends, we sign-off the project.

Role as team member:

Reviewed and analyzed Business and Functional requirement specifications.

Applying JIRA as Defect Tracking tool to log defects and provided various debugging logs to developers by implementing tools like Octane-VPN.

Effectively collaborating with team members and prioritizing the testing tasks based on deadlines and requirements to achieve the best results.
