Responsibilities: Perform History and Physical exams, MRI and X-ray reviews, Pre and post-operative visits. Provide treatment plans for patients including surgical recommendations and non-surgical conservative care management, or referral for additional care. Worked closely with Orthopedic Surgeons, Neurosurgeons, Physiatrists, and Anesthesiologists for imaging reviews, MRI discussions, medication prescribing, medical/surgical complications, pre operative screening and clearance for surgery. Ordering of appropriate imaging and Diagnostic studies (MRI vs CT, EMG, Lab work, EKG's, Chest X-rays, etc) as well as knowing their indications and contraindications. Completion of pre-operative review of all patient cases and medically clearing patients for their upcoming surgery.
