JACOBS ENGINEERING SA (JESA): March 2016 to Present. Contract Administrator ODI Project

ODI Projects: I managed several contracts including “General Contractor”, “Civil” and “Piping” contracts, the contracts amount is over 800 Million USD. ODI Projects consist of 4 individual identical plants (ODI P1, P2, P3&P5) producing sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid and Di-ammonium phosphate, with storage tanks for sulfur, phosphoric acid and ammonia. Every plant is 1 billion USD budget. The plant include Heat Recovery System, turbine generator, concentration area, water treatment plant and 3 electrical and control rooms. The commodities consisted of 100,000m3 of concrete, 9,500t of steel, 92,000m / 375,000 welded DI of piping, 910,000m cables, 65 field tanks and 39 major field erect tank for each platform. Each plant contains more than 8000 Vendor documents and more than 30000 Engineering Drawings and documents Responsibilities:

Maintenance of a Contract file including Contractual documents, Change Orders, Contract, Amendments, Insurance Certificates and Payment Certificates.

Responsible of Contractual Interpretation of Contract

Responsible of Change Management (General Contractor):

- Contractual Review on Change Notice : review changes against the award agreement and obtain agreement on the impact of the changes.

- Maintenance of Change Notice Log.

- Coordination of potential Project Back-charges with Construction and Procurement.

- Implements contract modifications, data management and coordination with subcontractors

- Participates in contract negotiation (New items price, New Scope of work).

- Preparation of Contractual Justification Reports required by Clients in regard with Change Notice.

- Preparation of Change Management Reports.

Managing Contractor Relationships and communication.

Meetings with the Contractor that deal with terms and conditions, pricing, period of performance, or any changes

Participation in resolution of back charge, dispute or claim: identify, quantify and assess the issues and evaluate their merit.

Review of contractual compliance, measurement, audit and first approval of monthly Payment Certificates and invoices for authorization and payment.

Correspondence to and from the Contractor.

Implementation and maintenance of Contract Administration Electronic System (Prolog):

- Set up of Prolog Databases and Reports for JESA Projects.

- Coordination with Prolog Manager of all issues related to Prolog.

- Training of all Contract Administrator on Prolog.

- Prolog presentation and training to Client.

- Update of the Prolog DB for ODI P2&P5 Projects with all contractual documents (Contracts, Insurances, Correspondences, Change Orders, Invoices

JACOBS ENGINEERING SA (JESA): May 2011 to March 2016: Document Control Lead


Responsible to Hire and Train the Document Control team for the ODIP1, P3, P2&P5 Program (13 Document Controllers).

Manage staff of Document Control Technicians to achieve the document control requirement to operate in the ODI EPCM program.

Training and Orientation of the Document Control Team.

Responsible to produce and implement document control standards and work instructions for the ODI EPCM program (Document Control Management Plan: Numbering system/Communication Protocol/ DC Procedure/ Multi-offices chart/ Field sketches &Field Revision charts

Responsible to design, modify and implement JESA JPI system (Jacobs Project Information) to work within the ODI EPCM program including coordination of Jacobs global offices (Multi-office)

JPI Administrator (Jacobs Project System based on Lotus notes Database).

Responsible to train All Construction Management Field staff and Contractors in the Document Control Work Instructions, standards, and use of the JPI system / JPI elite.

Responsible to establish the “best practice” standard of JESA EPCM Document Control

Responsible to audit Document Control Department work process and document management functions to ensure an accurate and robust project document record.

Responsible to perform Field audits of the ODI Contractor’s document control systems.

Managed day to day Document Control issues and activities.

Provided client with periodic communication and updates on construction progress.
