Project Description:

DWH Reporting System is the storage house of all types of data in Arvik Systems. The data warehouse keeps all the information about the different department. The warehouse system involved with both full loading and incremental loading.

Role and Responsibilities:

Involved in loading data into data warehouse system.

Data Loaded from tables and flat files into target database and cleaned data using appropriate business rules.

Worked on Informatica power center tool-source analyzer, target ware house designer, Mapping designer and workflow manager.

Implemented joiner, expression, aggregator, sorter, rank, lookup and update strategy etc to create different types mappings

Implemented mapping variables and parameters in mappings.

Generated reusable transformations, mapplets and used them extensively in mappings.

Bottleneck handling, unit testing also done.

Use of target load order and constraint base load ordering in this project, created parallel, sequential processing and control flow of data.
