Resume:

I am a recent graduate of West Texas A & M University – Family Nurse Practitioner program and I’m interested in the job posted on your website for a Nurse Practitioner. As an accomplished Labor and Delivery nurse with six years of nursing experience I have a diverse background that has allowed me to develop in many areas. Providing bedside nursing for six years on a high risk unit has allowed me great opportunity to grow personally and professionally; it is these skills that would make me a valued member of your organization.

My experience includes providing pre/post delivery support, monitoring patient progress, and communication with medical teams to coordinate all aspects of quality women’s health care. Performing vaginal exams, monitoring labor stages, and guiding patients through recovery and postpartum are just a few of many areas at which I excel. Furthermore, I consistently provide a superior level of patient advocacy and compassionate care.

Highlights of my experience include the following:

Provided comprehensive nursing support and care for patients in triage, labor, operating room, and postpartum; evaluated needs upon hospital admission, obtained patient histories, assessed for labor risk factors, and leveraged fetal and monitoring equipment.

Assisted physicians during delivery, treatment, examination, and surgical procedures.

Earned ongoing praise from physicians, preceptors, patients, and peers for superior quality of care and compassionate nature.

I am confident that my skills and expertise will of great value to your organization. I look forward to discussing this opportunity and my qualifications in detail. Thank you for your consideration, my CV is attached.
