Pharmacy Intern/IV technician 2011-2016: This was an approximately 550 bed institution compounding intravenous solutions using aseptic technique. Opportunities to work every shift of the hospital producing STAT medications for immediate use and batches of IV solutions for the shift that followed. The position’s responsibilities required maintaining the IV room to USP 797 standards.
Pharmacist 2016-2017 (this company was bought by Omnicare Inc.): This was a long term care pharmacy located in Joplin, Missouri, called Senior Care Pharmacy. This long term care operation had approximately 30 homes. I was responsible for multiple shifts but also took on many
"on call" duties to service residents after hours of operation. Pharmacist/ night shift pharmacy manager 2017-2019: Omnicare Pharmacy was a very large long term care operation located in Spring eld, Missouri. At this operation’s highest volume it serviced around 60 nursing homes and approximately 3,000 to 5,000 residents. Night shift manager duties included managing two techs on sta for a 12 hour a shift 7 days on 7 days o . Responsi- bilities included overseeing 2 major deliveries of medications and devices, along with triaging which medications should be sent immediately, on a nightly run, or if to send at all.
