●Interned in the Phlebotomy department of Catawba Valley Medical Center.

●Followed different phlebotomists around, communicating with them about what they do, and how they do it.

●Helped retrieve materials when necessary.

●Ran test tubes to the lab.

Office Assistant

●Improved communication skills.

●Answered phone calls, and transferred when necessary.

●Took notes for the secretary, ran notes, made copies, shredded papers.

●Open and run the store

●Handle money, check out customers and assist them as necessary.

●Go through things consignors bring in, sort them by size, put them into the system, tag them, and put them out for sale.

●Make posts for our facebook page so people see what we have.

●When items have expired, I sort them by donate/pickup, by consignor, and then delete them out of the system.

●I also clean the store as necessary.
