ACADEMIC PROJECTS (2017-18):
1.Improved Quality of Dell Inspiron-15 Laptop: Identified the problems by analyzing Fish Bone diagram, studied the product and processes, collected and optimized the data by regression, suggested the solutions by making sure the processes are in control by using X bar chart and R Bar chart.
2.Conveyor Belt Project (MS Project): Involved a basic understanding of the importance of the Work Breakdown Structure, Networks to Planning, Scheduling, and controlling the project. Moreover, it created awareness of the potential conflicts and problems that may occur in the project.
3.Material Handling Equipment facility: Carried out reengineering of the existing manufacturing facility. Designed the production floor layout for new facility and optimized it to increase the productivity by 33% and reduction in the utilization of the resources by 7%. Also performed Economic Analysis.
4.Simulation and Optimization of Medical Equipment Manufacturing Facility (Witness Software): Simulated all the material flow throughout the facility and identified various bottlenecks. Evaluated various system configurations by applying “Theory of Constraints” that helped in achieving the target production.
